Oct. 21, 1969
I know it's a bit late in the day for this kind of post, but I'll go ahead regardless. It was on October 21st, 1969, that the fantastical rumor about Paul's premature death hit the airwaves of one of the biggest cities in the world. Roby Yonge, a DJ for New York's WABC radio station, broadcast a report about it that day, giving the story more of a global dimension than it had before.
